Thanks for the kind e-mail regarding our story on pit bulls. I have long been fond of the breed and knew the media have been generally negative in their portrayal of the dogs as vicious. As an owner of two, you are keenly aware of their intelligence and desire to please their owners.
The dog we featured in the segment, Atticus, was a gem. I would have no compunction about bringing him to my son's pre-school to play with the kids there. Again, thanks for taking the time to write us here, and for caring about animals.
